“We’ve worked with Tyler at Lost Trail Studio several times over the years - he’s helped us document some of our biggest moments to date. Tyler is a great many things. He’s committed to his craft, conscientious of his subjects, professional, and can put you at ease while taking your pictures (which is no small feat when kiddos and dogs may be included in said pictures). His work ethic is parallel to none and his professional attitude and skills are matched equally with his willingness to capture any idea you may have for a photo.
Once, we had him come to our home and take pictures while I was pregnant with our second child. It was a beautiful summer evening, we stepped out into our back yard surrounded by trees during what seemed like the golden hour - the sunlight was just peeking through the trees. He took a lot of great pictures that evening, but one in particular that he got (that we didn’t even realize he got ) was with our dog Sam looking adoringly at us, his humans. We lost Sam several months later due to cancer and to this day, that is one one of my most favorite pictures.
